Join our pre-arrival webinar for newly admitted students. The following topics will be covered, in order:
- Enrolment Services will present on student financing, including budgeting resources, needs-based funding, and tuition assessment. (20 minutes)
- Life in Vancouver, including neighbourhoods, getting around, places to shop, and things to do. (30-40 minutes)
- UBC’s International Student Development will cover topics such as immigration (passports, study permits, visas / eTAs), working on and off campus as an international student, health insurance (iMED, AMS/GSS, MSP), and a brief look at banking and cell phone options in Canada (60-70 minutes)
Domestic students do not have to join for the entire session.
