This session will provide a detailed overview of upcoming doctoral award competitions, including advice on writing a successful application. Eligibility criteria for major funding agencies will be reviewed, as well as application procedures and tips for putting together a strong application. A faculty member will provide an adjudicator’s perspective on the review process.
Who should attend? Full-time, research-based domestic and international students who are (i) Master’s students planning to undertake a PhD program by September 2018 or (ii) PhD students who are currently starting the first, second or third year of their program.
