Welcome to your new grad school journey at UBC Vancouver!
Join us for the GradStart Welcome at the Frederic Wood Theatre (FWT). followed by “The Social” Fair along Main Mall (across the Belkin Art Gallery). There will be live welcome addresses and information for international students and interactive sessions.
Note: All times below are in PDT. You can use this time converter to check your local time if you’re in another time zone.

**Important:
- Seating is limited at the FWT and entry is first-come-first-served.
- If we reach capacity at FWT, attendees can join the livestreaming session at Thea’s Lounge (2nd floor of the Graduate Life Centre (GLC))
- Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate family, friends or partners at the FWT (except for accessibility reasons). Those wishing to attend with friends/family/partners are welcome to join the livestreaming session with everyone at Thea’s Lounge!
- FWT is wheel-chair accessible. If you’d like us to reserve a wheel-chair accessible seat for you at the theatre, please mention that during registration.
- There’s a kid-friendly space in the Graduate Life Centre (1st floor) if you’re attending with small children. Please note that child-minding is not provided.
